Aloha folks!
Living and working in Hanalei, we’re all used to a little business closure here and then. As we’re so thankful for the bounty rain brings to make our island lush and green, it can be a pain with unexpected rising of our Hanalei River leading to the bridge closing and the road flooding.
Recently, we’re facing a beast we’re not sure sure how to navigate through these weird times. Hanalei Center and our family here in the community have been following the Governor Ige and Mayor Kawakami’s proclamations to help keep our island safe. And with that, many stores have been closed.
BUT GREAT NEWS! Almost two weeks ago, businesses are starting to reopen. We have a very special situation compared to the rest of the country with very minimal cases of COVID-19 helping us feel more at ease with the cards we’ve been dealt. Please see our directory page and support your local merchants.
We will be announcing more open business in the coming weeks. And keep an ear out for our ad on KONG radio!
Thank you to our community and staff here at Hanalei Center for helping us keep this beautiful shopping center clean, sanitized and maintained.
